Season analysis after Korea

Di Resta has had quite a successful if fairly moderate season. He has only once been close to the podium and only has once managed to qualify top 5. However, as a competitor in the mid field he has generally proved quite strong. With only two top 6 finishes this season focus on top 10 finishes. Since he has finished in the points in half the races this season he is worth a bet with odds of 1/1 (2.00) but only if he qualifies top 10 or better since he usually finishes lower than he qualifies.

Season analysis after Hungary

Di Resta has been moderately successful this season. He has scored points in 5 races this year, including one top six finish. Podiums are very unlikely but top 6 finishes could pay off. Although only once been top 6, he has finished 7th on three occasions so he is competitive for top six finishes. Generally, focus upon top ten although top 6 with high odds might be worthwhile if di Resta has pace in free practise. However, di Resta has not scored points in the last three races. This is probably because drivers like Grosjean, Schumacher, Hamilton and Button who were struggling or retiring often have been more successful lately. This means that currently higher odds are required for points finishes to be value for money.

Di Resta has shown speed in qualifying, having reached Q1 on four occasions this year. This is good bet if running well in free practise.
